Our Mission is be the best at identifying, qualifying and delivering top talent for our customers, while enhancing the careers of our employees.

The Public Works Department provides a variety of services to Town government and the residents of Wrightsville Beach. The department is divided into 8 divisions, including Fleet Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Street Maintenance, Stormwater Maintenance, Sanitation, Water, Sewer, and Public Works Administration. The respective divisions provide services based on an annual population of 2800 residents, and a peak population of 20-40,000 seasonal residents and visitors. The Town's infrastructure is sized based on seasonal peak populations.
